I read sinner awhile ago and did not realize it was a series. I LOVED sinner. This one...I loved just as much!I read a lot of romance novels and lately they have been lacking. Thief is a story that will give you all the feels. Laugh, cry...tingle (hehe). You will really feel for these characters.
Only issue is the editing. The typos get distracting. And the lack of dialog tags make it hard to follow at times. Still giving 5 stars because her writing content is superb.

Good book
I love Silas and Ivy. I love how they struggled , were lost to each other and how they found each other. Silas is such a lovable guy. Ok he gets trapped but he found by Ivy and that is all that matters.
I always get weary about standalone yet intertwined stories. I worry if the 2nd story will be just as or better than the 1st. Thief does not disappoint! Silas and Ivy are great! Aubrey writes them with realistic responses and reactions. So much that one could see the whole Blaine thing from a mile away. Great plot! Great characters! Great writing!
Ivy and Silas have not seen each other in 8 years, which was the night he left her behind and went to Ireland to escape criminal charges. Ivy and Silas had a secret marriage that no one knew about. They all know Silas left Ivy behind, but do not know exactly how far their relationship had gone prior to his leaving. Silas is back in town and so is Ivy for a park dedication to her father. Ivy has no clue that Silas is back in town and feels blindsided when she sees him. Ivy is also blindsided by her "boyfriend", Blaine, who was really a fellow blogger that appeared with her to promote their images. Ivy runs away a lot in this book and it got old real fast. Silas realizes that he has a lot to make up for but also that everyone knew why he did what he did and left him behind without a second thought. I thought Ivy should have apologized to Silas for not telling her family what he meant to her. Instead she buried it and pretended all was fine. Silas sets about getting Ivy to see that they still have something and she does come around eventually but I didn't like the whole back and forth she did with him. She knew she loved him and was definitely hurt by what he did, but basically ran to him when things were too much for her. Overall an okay read but too much immaturity and not enough of a buildup of their back story to make me "feel" their love. Also, who sleeps separate after marriage because their parents don't want them in the same bed together? That part was ridiculous. Her parents needed to get over themselves. If marriage was sacred, why diminish Ivy and Silas' marriage?
Silas & Ivy were an enjoyable couple to read about especially after being apart for eight years (even though they are legally married). This book was about second chances and true love with a dash of intensity and steaminess. Despite the challenges, inner struggles and other people that tried to keep them away from each other - it was great to see that they found their way back to love. I will be reading more books by this author. Happy Reading!
I really loved this book about second chance love. Silas and Ivy fell in love and were secretly married when Ivy was 18 and Silas was 19. He was a thief and ended up stealing her heart. Silas's uncle sent him to Dublin for 5 to 8 years to avoid being charged for something he didn't do. Ivy's heart is broken when he disappears without telling her anything. He's back in Shelter Harbor eight years later and wants to explain that he had to leave to protect her. Do they get their second chance? I really enjoyed this book. Patsy Sacco
Ivy goes back to her hometown for a park that is being dedicated to her Dad. At the pier she runs into her ex who is also her husband. She hasnt seen him in 8 years. Ivy has a lot of things going for her. A successful digital marketing business and a yoga line. And a boyfriend as well.
Silas left town for good reason and now that he is back he wants Ivy but will she take him back?
